LEAD User Experience Researcher & DESIGNER
Led clinical research and design for Baby2Home, an evidence based mHealth intervention built on the Collaborative Care Models designed to support families during their transition to parenthood. My work spans the full research lifecycle from conducting clinical trials and evaluating patient-reported outcomes to leading surveys, qualitative interviews, and usability testing with parents and collaborative care providers. I also analyzed study data and translated findings into published research, ensuring insights from real users directly inform clinical practices.
User Experience Research Consultant
Worked with distributed agile teams to built seamless digital experiences for Healthfirst, one of New York’s largest not-for-profit health insurers. Led in-person research with primary care providers and Healthfirst members to understand the challenges faced in the delivery and access to care during the COVID-19 pandemic. Conducted survey campaigns to collect data on health trends as well as apply the findings toward public health policies and health promotion programs. Developed HIPAA-compliant research techniques, data retention, and purging policies to safeguard the patient’s interest. Redesigned the member facing portal to incorporate key features including virtual care, online prescriptions, and community resources to address members’ needs during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Senior UX Designer
As a Senior UX Designer at The Lemon Ad Stand, I partnered with cross-functional teams to elevate digital experiences across diverse client projects. Designed and developed wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs that align with user needs, brand guidelines, and accessibility standards to enhance user experience and engagement. Leveraged expertise in AI and automation to streamline internal workflows, optimize decision-making processes, and enhance operational efficiency through intelligent design solutions..
Graduate Assistant
Collaborated with PUSH Studio and WHEEL Lab on interdisciplinary research initiatives. Led the development of a trauma-informed interviewing training module for law enforcement officers using Virtual Reality at the PUSH Studio. Conducted quantitative and qualitative research and led usability and efficacy studies with law enforcement officers and victim advocates. Authored white papers and case studies for academic conferences, and worked closely with victim advocates to design branching narratives for training scenarios. These scenarios enable officers to practice interviewing techniques virtually, aiming to reduce bias when interacting with victims of gender-based violence.
Led research to develop human-centered automation tools designed to alleviate strain on health-care systems at the WHEEL Lab. Created inclusive solutions that address the needs of marginalized populations in primary care. Analyzed clinical visit videos to develop a work-task framework for both patients and providers, and built a function-allocation model to determine which tasks are suitable for automation versus human execution. Designed and conducted experimental studies to test low-fidelity prototypes representing various automation levels for feasibility and usability.
